· Checking the ohms on your subwoofer: just set the multimeter to 200 ohms and then check if the ohm level of the sub tallies with the rating of the amplifier. You have to hook up both the ends of the multimeter to the speaker terminals of the amp speaker.
· Testing the wires on your speakers: You have to be put your stereo on low volume. Then you have to set the multimeter to 20V DC. The negative probe has to be placed on the chassis grounds. Then place a positive probe on one of the terminals of the speaker.
