Fuel flow meter Calibration is the process of adjusting fuel flow meters within engine management systems to prevent them from giving inaccurate readings. A fuel flow meter measures the volume of fuel and air delivered to an engine per unit of time. The way it works is that a pressure sensor in the intake manifold measures pressure, and this value is converted into a digital signal using controller area network (CAN) communication protocol.
